Personally I think the Chargers would win...the Chargers are more balanced, while Indianapolis has relied on its outstanding offense all year. Yeah, their offense is insane, but what real D have they played this year besides the Patriots?

Are you joking? The way Peyton Manning is playing right now? Chargers, as good as they are, can NOT go shot for shot with the Colts.

I don't think the Chargers are getting the respect they deserve this year. This is due to an insanely STACKED AFC imo. Pats are 12-1, Steelers are 12-1, Jets 10-3, Indy 10-3, and SD 10-3. This being said, I still think the absolutely Captain-Insano Colts O would be enough to beat the Chargers.

Jacksonville and the Bears?

Much of the same can be said about the Chargers. They are a good team, but who have they played that had a solid D all season? When they played Carolina, they only scored 17 points. My point is that neither team has good D so it wouldn't matter. Chargers give up 247/game passing, Colts give up 244. It will be a shootout, but the Colts have WAY too many weapons.

This question is meaningless without saying which is the home team. I figure the Bolts have no chance IN Indy, and that's without having watched them this year. Indy's reeeally good, especially at home. In SD, who knows?

Representing the AFC is gonna be a tall task for any playoff-bound AFC team. OF the big 5, one team is gonna have to beat TWO of them just to get to the superbowl. Eagles should get to the superbowl, and they might not even have to play Atlanta. Yay. :frown:

Since the colts have already locked there division I dont think these games can really break the season for them. Besides if you want to talk about the colts vs the pat D they still up big offesive numbers and 20 plus points.

I get tired of hearing...Who has SD played?

They were 4-12 last year. The system is designed for 5th place division teams to have easier schedules then division winners. Bottom line is they have played 13 games and won 10 of them. That is good with any schedule.

Colts. Chargers are having a great year, but their defense is nothing spectacular either, and their offense certainly can't keep up with the Colts'.

Get out of here with that sh!t.

#14 overall defense, #30 pass defense, #13 scoring defense.

Their defense is nothing spectacular. Do you think the #30 pass defense is gonna be able to stop Peyton Manning??

where is Indy in all this?

Indy: 365.2yds/g 120.8 rush yds/g(19th overall) passing #28
SD: 324.8yds/g 77.5 rush yds (1 overall) passing #30

Indy is only a few down on scoring, which is what matters. They are #16. Yes, the Chargers have (generally) a better defense, but don't forget that while the Colts give up a lot of yards, they make among the most impact plays on defense(sacks/turnovers). Add that to the fact they have a SIGNIFIGANTLY better offense, the Bolts don't have a chance.

who is going to run against a team that is #30 vs the pass?

that #2 rush defense is such a useless stat.

Well, if they have an extremely suspect passing defense, why would you run on them?

Why not refute what I said in my last post? Oh, cuz I'm right.

What is there to refute? Your opinion or the stats? There is no refuting a statistic. As far as impact defensive plays well let me start with a game winning TD return last week and a fumble recover leading to a fg that pushed the lead to 10 in the final minutes. Previously it was a end zone INT at the end of the game against Denver that won it. How are those NOT impact plays? Where did you come uop with those "impact" stats?

Umm...they are facts?

Turnover margin, Indy leads the lead with +18. Chargers do well, 3rd with +13.
The Colts' defense has forced 6 more turnovers than the Chargers' so far.

Sacks...Indy is 2nd, only one behind Philly, with 41. Chargers on the other hand, are 29th, with 24.

Tell me again how I was wrong in my statement??
