Ok.
So let's say I'm your average wirehead guy with everything I could possibly need. And let's say somebody is trying to buy me a christmas gift, anywhere between $200-$1500. Anything specifically COMPUTER RELATED is out. So like a radeon DV and that 2nd processor I need is not an option. One "single" gift would be better than multiple little things.
Any suggestions for cool but useful and thoughtful gadgets / fun guy things?
Unfortunately I'm not really into palmtops or anything like that... The only thing that I can really think of that I wouldn't buy myself would be a nice (like a tag) watch, but the reason I wouldn't buy myself that is because I don't like the idea of wearing around a $1000 watch everyday. I have way too many guy type hobbies (cars, computers, electronics) but all those things I'm obsessive about so no one can buy me gifts because they couldn't possibly get it right. (their words, not mine - personally I really do think it's the thought that counts)
Just curious what sorts of "good guy gifts" anandtechers would come up with.
