actually DirectTV is suing lots of people right now.

I guess they didn't want the RIAA to have all the fun

if i was his supplier, i would be scared about now. i doubt he wrote his own 3m or found any good leaked scripts, let alone program himself. i thought dave gave up on all these lawsuits? havent follow on whats going on since i got scared and is no longer in the scene for awhile.

And though the law would allow DirecTV to recover its attorney fees if it ever won a case, defendants don't recoup the money they spend on lawyers and court costs no matter how innocent they are.
Why not ? I thought lawyers get paid only if you win... ?

Contingency agreements are usually only found in Tort cases

They should just leave the guy alone, we all know he was using that equipment to find the real killers. We know he cleared the ground keepers of several golf courses of any suspicions. Now he has to check all those actors and sports personallities.
