I'm glad he's out personally. He paid a pretty stiff price for his crime. 9 years in prison dayam I can't even imagine.
This is the thing, everyone knew OJ literally got away with murder, he SHOULD have been happy to avoid a life in prison and laid low but chose NOT to. First trying to cash in by hiring a "ghostwriter" to publish "If I did it, confessions of a KILLER" Then the whole fiasco involving his supposedly stolen merchandise. That's what got him the longest time possible for his charges.

Yeah. He literally got away with murder and a smart person would go through the rest of his life without getting a parking ticket. The one thing I would be scared of in that situation is a make-up call. Don't give a second jury the chance to extract vengeance due to outrage over the first verdict. Take the win and run.

But O.J. must have thought "Suck it, I'm O.J.-freaking-Simpson! I'm bulletproof bitches!!". Honestly I thought the book would have made it impossible to ever get parole. The utter contempt he showed for the system and how callously he cashed in on Nicole's murder *should* have turned off every parole board on Earth. He deserved to serve the whole sentence just for being an asshole.

Except, you know, the $33.5 million that was awarded in civil court that he hasn't paid. You know, that's all.

Fuck him, I'd let him rot in prison.
