Bah - so I bought a new oil drainage container, forgot to check the drain cap on the container itself to make sure it was tight - changed my oil, and then had an 8ft long slick dribbling down my driveway.

I put down cat litter, got the oil up, but can anything be done about the stain on the concrete?

gasoline will break up the oil and then throw down some cat litter to soak it all up.

Pour gas on it, then light it up, your problems will soon go away.

Seriously, there are several products at home depot, or ace hardware for pulling up oil stains. I loved the one that poured on as a liquid and formed a solid you could sweep up, will check when i get home and see if I can find the tradename.

Buy some TSP at Lowe's. Nothing else will really work that great if the oil has soaked down into the concrete.

This is the stuff you have to use to clean oil stains before you can put a coating on concrete. But honestly, when we bought our house, I wanted to coat the garage floor before we moved in. Already had a few stains on it.
I power washed, used Greased Lightning, Muriatic Acid, and TSP, and even after the TSP a little of the stains remained....but the coating stuck just fine.
