But still lower than it should be considering inflation. The fact we as a nation have managed to keep the cost of gasoline from rising at the rate of inflation is amazing.
It may also explain the lack of an energy plan out of our federal govt.
Maybe I'm not understanding your comment, but inflation hasn't gone up 100% in the past year. Gas prices have far outpaced inflationary increases, unless "inflation" means something other than what I think it does.
Edit: 100% may be a little bit of a stretch, but I'd be VERY interested to see a graph of inflation and gas price increases. If they match up, I'd be extremely surprised.
