It couldn't be easier.......I've always changed my own oil and it's quick, easy, and you know the job was done right. Hell.... a trained monkey could do it. Your car's owners manual shoudl have all the info you need in it to get you started.

There's really nothing to it--oil goes out, oil goes in :)

Oh, and change the filter too ;)

Agreed.

Take the nut off the oil pan to drain the oil. Take the oil filter off. Put the nut on the oil pan back on. Put a new oil filter on. Put new oil in.

Done.

Tips:
-do NOT over tighten the oil pan bolt! If in doubt get help.
-apply a little oil to the new oil filter rubber seal before installing.
-only hand tighten the oil filter. Hand tight = tighten by hand, no tools used.
-make sure you know the proper amount of oil to pour in, not too much, not too little.
