Oil Analysis

I am about to hit 20k on my Tacoma.

First oil change was at 2k miles, took out stock oil and filter, and put in Amsoil filter and oil.
2nd oil change was at 12k miles.

Third will be at 20k. I was contemplating going to 25k and then doing every 10k from there, if the oil analysis comes out fine.

BUT I think I will do it at 20k, and then go for every 10k from there, or 7.5k, or 5k depending on the results.

So what should it cost, and can local shops do this. I know Amsoil themselves sell a kit for about $20. With postage payed return envelope. Has anyone used this service before? I am thinking that it covers the cost of getting your oil analyzed and them sending you the report. Or is that something I have to pay on top of the kit to mail the oil back to them.

I may just use Amsoil's service, since I buy direct from their site, and have a premium measurement. I guess I could take 2 samples, just for shits and giggles, and see if the results, and recommendations come back the same. Hell my oil changes would only cost $90 instead of $50 each change.

Thanks for the input.
