Oi! X-Qpack power supply...

I just RMA'd my X-Qpack's power supply...that's the second one we've had go bad right after purchase, and this one might be faulty too (but I haven't tested it thoroughly enough to decide if it's the supply or a software issue causing my crashes). If this one craps out, I may RMA again or just buy a different supply. Trouble is, most of the 420+ watt power supplies out there are too big and/or have too many cables to fit in the case properly.

Has anyone else here bought an X-Qpack and had this problem? What did you do to alleviate the issue?

I have been doing a little research on this same subject..in fact I posted about it here on AT. Bottom line is if you get a Power Supply that does not exceed 150mm(5.9") in length (many that size) then you it will work if you use a short Optical drive such as a lite-on. BTW ..if 430 watts is plenty of power...a Antec True power 430 will work.

Enermax 420W Noisetaker.

Has short cables which is helpful.

I personally doubt that the Qpack power supply can actually put out that much power.
