YSU??? Akron?? Washington??? Northwestern??? Minnesota???
Not to mention that Purdue hasn't played a ranked (or good) team this year either.
Let us know when they play a real team. Like one from the SEC.

Let's see...
YSU: Perennial 1-AA National Championship contender, easily the same caliber as the App State that beat Michigan.
Akron: Yes, pushover.
Washington: Nearly beat the number 1 team in the country last week.
Northwestern: Yes, true.
Minnesota: Huge offensive numbers all year, couldn't produce against OSU.
And if you want to name a stronger conference, talk PAC-10, not the SEC.

1. 1-AA. Enough said.
2. Pushover, no way?
3. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand granades. USC lost this weekend. It couldn't be that USC is overrated maybe?
4. Ok.
5. Are you serious? Minnesota is 1-5 on the year. Here's a hint, it doesn't matter how many points you score if the other team scores more. Someone tell them to get a D.
6.
AP Top 26 teams -
SEC: LSU, South Carolina, Florida, Kentucky, Auburn, Florida and Tennessee
7 Top 25 teams.
Pac10: Cal, Oregon, USC
3 Top 25 teams.
SEC has 1 team with a losing record out of 12 teams. Pac-10 has 4 losing teams out of 10 total.
Please for the love of god tell me you don't really think Pac-10 is better than the SEC.
Say what? Do you even watch college football???

um. want to know what 1-AA means? School size. That's it. 1-AA does not mean a bad team, simply they are a small school.

Let me know how many of the top 100 prospects on the ESPN list signed with a 1-AA school.
I'm not saying 1-AA can't be a good team, but there's a reason why it was the first time in history that a 1-AA team had beaten a ranked team. Be real here, their players are generally not up to the skill level of 1-A teams.
It took a highly overranked Michigan team to lose to a great 1-AA team. Michigan should have never been ranked 5th. But that's why we play the game, no one had reason to believe Michigan was THAT bad.
Either way, this really has nothing to do with it.

It was supposed to be Georgia, sorry. It is 7.
That all said, I think Ohio State is a decent team, but I think their ranking is largely based on last year. I'l reserve judgement until the Penn State and Illinois games.

you're still in Stage 1: Denial.
Pac10 is no match for the SEC....again!

FSU smacked around bama who took again UoG to overtime. Again someone with SEC intelligence explain to me why you think your conference is so great above all else when the rest of the country is beating up on you??? the only good ooc win you have so far is over va tech who has stuggle against not one but two mac teams.

Stanford beat USC, but lost to UCLA. UCLA lost to ND (who was WINLESS).
So therefore Notre Dame is the second greatest team in the land because they beat UCLA who beat Stanford who beat USC who was ranked second at the time.
You fail at logic. Get a clue.

i forgot to put in the edit.
this was someone in espn comments page posted this.
i don't do the daisy thing, nor do i care about debating sec/big10/pac10 etc : P
i like to watch all football games and pray for a playoff system of some sorts every other day. I just read this earlier today and thought it was kinda funny and would stir ::some:: argument.

this was actually the whole post and it basically started more flames on espn : P
See, SEC fans only have one game to rely on all their BS, last years NTG tha's it and they will keep ridding it as long as they can cause if not for that they have nothing. Hey SEC fans this is what the rest of country sees since you guys are so stuck up each others a@@. CAL completely dismantled Tenn, who beat georgia, South Fla who just struggled against Fla alantic beat auburn who beat fla, who almost beat LSU. FSU smacked around bama who took again UoG to overtime. AGAIN where is the superiority?? Big ten is 8-6 against you in bowl games the past few years, 2-1 last year. Hell Iowa beat fla and lsu in bowl games jus a few years ago, now that is commical. AGAIN someone please explain to me?? Funny thing is i enjoy SEC football a lot its just the fans that i can't stand, see fla owned ohio state in one game your conference has not owned anyone and never will. O and btw the ohio stat/michigan was far more entertaining then last nites one good last drive game is all it was, and if fla stops LSU on one of those 4th downs how stupid does LSU look for not tieing up the game. O and just for some of you SEC fans that i'm sure don't no Urban and Less are both from Ohio. Get over youselves no one cares.
