Agreed OD deserves this, I just read over a few of his threads (I don't read much daily 'cause of time restraints) and he is definitly one of the guys that deserves to be elevated.

I think he should be elevated to Elite just for the "lame commentary." The first thread I read when I log into the forums is the Seti Race Stats and Milestones.

Makes sense to me, he gets my vote.
His stats thread, and his commentary help the team, not just in having fun, but in racing, which usually means increasing output, which in turn again helps the team. I know I strive to do more when I'm in a race, in part to win, and in part to see what he's going to write next!
If his current line of work doesn't pan out, he could always get a job as a commentator or speech writer. I always enjoy his comments.

The Dude has been a class act from day one & his commentary is a part of the foundation of this team. We should acknowledge his hard work with a title that reflects our appreciation of him - Elite
I definitely concur that OD should become an "Elite." The title is specially conferred on those whose peers deem to go above and beyond the call of duty to promote aspects of distributed computing (at least in the DC forum) and who consistently are good representatives of the type of site we all hope this to be. He also represents (at least to me) the type of individual that I would emulate had I the skill. He is good for the TeAm AND good for the Anandtech forums.

i havent posted in here for a while, but i wold like to show OD my support, and invite him to come into the irc channel at anytime, cause thats where all the action is at!
As many of you know, I don't post much(except to poke fun at OD ), but I have been a member of TA for.. hmm.. have to look at my RC5 stats to figure that one out.. looks like 794 days now. Grandpa Smoke has the right of it though, OD should be raised to Elite status.
