Ahh, now that is an interesting machine. Ivy bridge + one less HDD but 2x mini-PCIe SATA ports instead.

So tempted to get that motherboard though and slap it in mine.

Are mini-PCIe and mSATA ports the exact same thing? Electrically and everything?

They are different electrically but the same physically.
