Ohh Condit Saga GOES UP A NOTCH!

COPS: CONDIT WIFE ATTACKED CHANDRA; FURIOUS PHONE CALL

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER is set to report in its next edition set to hit newstands Friday that Gary Condit's wife attacked Chandra Levy days before her disappearance after a furious phone call between the two.

The ENQUIRER reports that the call between Carolyn Condit and Chandra Levy has been discovered by case investigators in which the missing intern told the wife that Gary Condit was going to dump her, and start a new life with Levy.

According to an ENQUIRER source, "Investigators got phone records that show a phone call from Condit's home in California to his apartment in Washington that was over five minutes long.

"Condit said that he did not talk to his wife during that phone call because he wasn't in the apartment at the time."

Gary Condit is said to have become enraged that Levy broke a cardinal rule of his and picked up the phone at his D.C. apartment, and confronted her over the encounter.

Investigators have pieced together that Chandra was at Condit's apartment at the time and saw on the Caller ID that an incoming call was coming from Condit's California home and that Chandra boldly picked up the receiver and that a 'blow-up phone call' ensued.

It was after that call, apparently, that Carolyn Condit took off for Washington on April 28.

Detectives now want to give Condit's wife a lie detector test because, according to a Justice Dept source, she is "now being looked at as a key to the whole investigation."

According to the ENQUIRER, Carolyn Condit has refused to take the exam.

Although some people have thought the wife killed her in a jelous rage.

I don't know if anything was said about it or not, but I heard Friday that the priest who claimed his daughter had an affair with condit retracted his story saying he had lied.

If you can't trust a priest, who can you trust...

i look at it like this, the Enquirer has their shaire bs alien and celeb stories, but when they report on stuff like this, they are usually dead on. They were ahead of the curve on a lot of the clinton scandals. I bet that after the enquirer cmoes out, all the news outlets will start to report the same story.

I thought the guy who wrote the drudge report is the one who broke the lewinski thing, not the tabloids. (well, they were claiming all kinds of clinton scandle info, including that Hillary was gay/really a he/the real president/etc)

Plausable. I thought this would have been the logical suspect in this love triangle anyways.

Why does the investigative arm of the law take so long to discover what most people can reason without any problem? Jealous wife goes to DC to beat the crap out of the little homewrecker,(and file for divorce I hope).

Something really strange about this family. Carolyn looks like an attractive woman. I do not understand how she could be nieve to all the affairs,nor do I understand why Gary would cheat on such a good looking woman.

the wife should have beem happy, supposedly, she and Condit hardly saw each other, because she hardly ever traveled to washington, she could have taken him to the cleaners and set herself up for life.

Speaking of which, Monica set out for washington on a mission,and that was to suck off Bill Clinton. The intern crap was just the vehicle for this girl to find fame. Seems that Chandra set out on the same path. Go to Washington on an internship,and hook a politician for fame and fortune.Doesn't matter to these sleezes that these men were married. And all women know a stiff____ has no concience. I find as much fault with these women as I do with the lack of character of the two men.

I heard on the radio that the National Enquirer is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the discovery of Levy...also the National Enquirer did almost the same thing to find the killer of Bill Cosby's son, Enis Cosby...remember that?

so the enquirer may be a semi-trustwothy news source in this case...

also...the DC Police are so SLOW...they seem to act stupid...she's been missing since May 1st...and Condit has been very secretive....so obviously something is up with him....ahh..stupid police department...

Enquirer is pretty damn good.. All the others suck.. But then again, I saw a report by the Enquirer a week ago that said Chandra died in Condit's apartment and the body was dumped...

Well Condit has probably banged 15 or so women since hes been a congressmen. And Bill Clinton had some affairs before Monica as well. So I put more blame on them than the women.

The phone call to Condits apt, has already been confirmed by police. And Condit wasn't home at the time of the phone call. So who else could have been there, that would talk to his wife for five minutes? Its only a matter of time before the investigation shifts away from Condit and is fully focused on his wife.
