Some of the things they do are seriously hard. It's ridiculously strenuous and requires more strength than you would think.

Um, no. It's not.

Synchronized swimming is supposed to be 'artistic', I've never really watched more than the 30 second blurbs that they have once and a while between other sports for the olympics. However, it takes a huge amount of training to even get the strength to pull off what they do.

Can you tread water upside down and get your legs completely out of the water?
