Hmm I've always been curious which airport is sending their planes directly over my apartment complex when en route to the local airport. I assumed it was Dulles, but that doesn't appear to be the case!

EDIT:

Does Cockpit view work for anyone?

It wanted me to install the Google Earth plug-in if that helps you out.

pretty neat. love how US traffic dwarfs everyone else. seems like almost nothing over africa and most of the oz traffic up and down the east coast.

Woah that's awesome. Never realized there was that many planes in the sky at any given time. Especially in the US, that is insane! Imagine the scramble when all flights were told to land at the same time on 9/11. D:

Boooo, hate how coders never think of Linux. :( The cockpit view would have been awesome to see.

i wonder if they're missing some data? or how much they're missing. europe looks quite empty considering how busy some airports like Heathrow are.
