okay I went into the archives and "researched" this.

apparently there was some neffer who got banned, and to get back at AT, he made a new nick, posted some pics of some (IMO, ugly) chicks, said he was one of them and got a bajillion PM's from zit faced kids from AT-OT.

I see. quite clever.

but no, sorry to disappoint you, I didn't PM. hell I didnt start using PM's until like a month ago.

If you were around for "Harvey -vs- Tom (of Tom's Hardware) you're a relative old timer.

A truly truly old timer would be someone who has been around since AnandTech's GeoCities days... sadly I come a couple of months short! :(

I swear none of those PMs were mine even though I was 15 at the time and a couple of the come ons do sound like me :p. I don't think we've seen the last of ChipBGT. I'm fairly sure he was hyper99 and I also think he was more than chipBGT. We won't know until the next AT scandel though ;)

ummmm yeah... it doesnt take two brain cells to figure out that the odds of a hot teenage chick hanging out on Anandtech are very VERY slim. :p

and the original butter thread was interesting. I think nowhereman mirrored it somewhere, wonder if its still around.

and was it NWM who made his own butter thread, like responding to himself over and over (different every time of course) like 500 times? :Q
