It's SO fvcking cold! Granted, I'm sure it's not as cold as some of the areas where others of you live, but I'm still not completely used to being this cold.

Right now I'm under two blankets and a comforter and sitting next to an electric oil-filled heater.

I'm wearing a pair of my socks and over them, I'm wearing a pair of Tim's wool socks. I'm also wearing underwear, my old thermals (which are freakin' huge on me now...guess it's time to go get more), sweat pants, a thermal top, a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt. Yeah. I'm damn sexy. DAMN SEXY!

*Shivers*

How is it where y'all live?

It's not that bad here. It dipped down to 10°F early yesterday morning, but the next couple of days are going to be quite warm.

I was born in Colorado and then lived in Arkansas and then Oklahoma before moving to California at the age of 10. I know what you mean. Being back in a state where it gets cold (and not even as cold as some of the other states and Canada) is kind of hard to get used to again. Having actual seasons makes it tough for my fibromyalgia and arthritis, but it's beautiful here in the winter. (Well actually....it's beautiful here year round. lol) I'm learning that layering is the key. You just peel off the layers as you get warmer. :D

Specop 007 - Um, DUH! I was sitting right next to a heater AND we had our wood-burning stove going. We were out earlier that night at Tim's parents' house and by the time we got home, the fire had burned way down, so we had to get the house warm again.
