Nah, they all get knocked down eventually. They do more harm to the cause of Morality than good, best to leave the position unfilled.

I think she's perfectly happy with her position as "The Wicked Witch of the West"

Different direction. Here's a Good Article from a conservative questioning Bennett also. You see, it is possible to be a conservative, believe in morals and espousing them, but not be a bible-thumping repressionist/prohibitionist.

She, from her platform as a Constitutional Attorney, has come far.... She has one thing going for her that is often not found in others of her ilk... she finds humor in the quest of the left and therefore her focus is superficial. The deeper thinkers see the real threat to their manifest deliverance of America from the evil of Pure Freedom as being ideological and subtle. This then requires full out anything goes... for the good of the people of course... God requires it... action plans.

The latest is to engender big giving by Republican supporters to keep Hillary from running in '04 even though she won't .... is building support for '08... but, they want at least 60 seats in the Senate to push across their Judicial Nominees... that is how they will control the nation... make all non comforming issues Unconstitutional.... Cleaver...

Definately. In fact it is those bible-thumping repressionist/prohibitionist that help give Conservatives a bad rap. The sooner the Conservatives distance themself from the Religious Right the sooner they will find more Moderates who are know Democrats in their camp. Extremists on both sides of the political spectrum have more power than is warranted. With them it is truly a case of "The Squeeky Wheel getting the Oil". I mean it's totally amazing to me how a Diesal Bitch like Anne Coulter is even recognized as a legitimate voice for the Conservatives. Her and Hillary are both on the Lunatic Fringe of their respective parties.

Amen. (pun intended)

The extremist minority of both sides gets way too much voice and way too much credit. Moderates will always have the power.
