Bought the GameCube last weekend and having a blast with mindless kids games like Diddy Kong Racing & Simpsons - Hit & Run 🙂

 
I just picked up Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, and it's a blast. Doing something more physically active than just moving a D-stick and mashing buttons is somehow more involving, and more FUN. Yes, I look like an idiot banging on the bongos and clapping my hands, but it's fun!

I think the Wii is going to succeed because Nintendo has realized that making the player more involved in the game through physical action is a better gameplay experience.
 
dk2 is alright. the song list is pretty crap compared to the first one. dk3 (you need a jpn box or a mod switch, not freeloader for this) is hella more fun. get jungle beat too. that new racing game theyre making for the bongos looks lame so dont get that.

also if you get dk1 you can load the soundsets into dk2.
