LOL,I just finished doing like two weeks worth of laundry!! I don't know what the heck is wrong with me but doing this kind of stuff really bores the heck out of me.Oh well,at least it's now done and Martha Stewert isn't in any danger from me :)

I do laundry 4 times a week.

Gotta have clean clothes, you know.

My Mom told me that I was spending too much money on laundry, when she saw the last bursar bill.

i hold out until the last possible moment, wearing my last pair of underwear before doing laundry. i keep track of what the "bottleneck" is and then buy more of them. it was socks before, but now it's underwear. some more underwear and i'll be good for 3 weeks at least.

4 loads of laundry... Usually, an average of 1-2 loads of khakhi pants (white ones, brown ones, black ones - all separate), 1-2 general loads (underwear/t-shirts/gymn clothes/pyjamas, etc.), maybe 1 load of sheets/towels, and once in a while, all my good shirts.

I'll wear an outer shirt (e.g. dress shirt, sweater) a few times, but I don't like to wear anything that's in direct contact with my body more than once without washing it.

You don't have kids, do you. And if you do, you obviously don't do their laundry. Try washing, drying, folding and putting away laundry for four or five people. Then you know the true horror. ;)

Geekbabe, I hear you, I just got done folding all mine. Woe is me.

Yup. There are 5 of us here (2 adults, 3 kids) plus dog, plus 5 guinea pigs.

I wash 2-3 loads of laundry a day, just to keep up with it. What I really hate is ironing clothes. At least I only have to do that every two weeks or so. :)

Now we are entering the holiday season, which means add more cooking (gotta contribute to school parties, office parties, family gatherings, etc) and more house cleaning (more guests, more frequently!).

Ho ho ho.

I don't mind emptying pockets, doing the washing or the drying the thing that I hate is FOLDING CLOTHES!

I do everything but FOLDING CLOTHES.

LOL,I wish I still had kids to use as an excuse, truth is I work so much these days that I measure how long it takes me to do a particular task and then decide if it I should just pay somebody else to do it for me rather than miss an extra overtime shift at work.I'm being quite industrious today though,I just changed all the lightbulbs, batteries in the smoke detectors, vacummed, cleaned my bathroom and put away all my clothing :)

OK, I will let you in on the secret:

Take a shower before you go to bed, with your clothes on, and sleep in the dryer. ;)

Why do bath towels start to stink?

You have a shower, wipe the clean water off yourself..........but in a week the bath towel starts to stink!!!!

I don't get it.
