How come it's alright to do this kind of stuff to humans, but if it was a real monkey, people would flip their shit?

Because humans know the consequences and have a choice in the matter.

Nicely done, I agree, mostly.

Knowledge of the dumb thing you are about to do does not insulate from the dumb thing you are going to do. Imagine if a chimpanzee was kicked off the stage and proceeded to rock the wrestler, it'd be better, no?

For the same reason an adult can legally do things to and with another adult that they can't do to a child: informed consent.

A child is considered not mature enough to give their informed consent.

It's the exact same for a monkey. See? Simple!

Hell, it's the exact same for monkey-boy below:

Because liberals.

He is either unfamiliar with the actual, informed answer above or unable to understand it, and obviously bitter because libs have bigger bananas. :p :D

Imagine if one day, through genetic engineering, we find a way to get our chimp strength back. Stronger bones, stronger joints and connective tissue and more leverage.

No, it's because liberals. Monkeys over human babies. PETA.

Come down out of the trees, monkey boy. The Savannah is beautiful.

Here you can learn to walk upright and use tools.

Leave your primitive, superstitious fear of lightning and libruhls behind.

Here, have a banana.

It is a misnomer that we've evolved from monkeys. We have a common ancestor, yes, but we're on different branches.

Even a chimp would be offended if you called it a monkey. Anyway, I never said we evolved from modern chimps. But we definitely did descend from the trees at some point. Then we started to develop stronger legs and weaker arms. And look where that got us. I want to be able to toss VW Bugs around like Hot Wheels toys.
