oh sh!t. my koolance resevoir leaks.

well, i filled it up a few days ago (week) and had it running for about 4 days, i noticed a little bit of water under the case, but i figured it was just from refilling it. well i turned it off over the weekend while i visited purdue, and when i came back today, there was a lot of water under it, and the resevoir had less water. how do i figure out where it leaks from? will koolance send me a replacement, or what? help!

Make sure you didn't cross thread the plug which has a o-ring on it. I used a quarter to use as a screwdriver on my Koolance PC601-BW.

You might have to take all your equipment out of the case, then turn Koolance upside down like you are putting the fluid in for the first time. I ran mine for 4 hours to make sure I didn't get any leaks. When I topped off the resevior with fluid, I allowed it for a few minutes to esccape any air bubbles before I tighten the plug.

it had never leaked before i decided to empty it out, and put new water in cuz the old stuff got gunky, now it leaks. i might take the resevoir out, and tighten everthing down, and check everything that way, and i will check the plug.

well i figured it out, somehow my resevoir is shattered on the top, it looks to be because some idiot tightened a screw to much. it only leaks when off, and upside down, (the top is shattered) so i am HOPING koolance isnt an ass and tells me its my fault, when all i have ever done it put water in it, never touched the resevoir.
