i just dropped my xbox 360 (falcon) from 5 feet onto wood flooring.

It appears to be working right now.

Are there any problems that I might have caused?

Are any parts in a 360 prone to breaking in an accident like this?

I'd say there are some parts that are prone to breaking when you drop a console onto wood flooring from 5 feet high.

It's going to break in a few months anyway, I wouldn't worry about it.

< Have had to RMA both my 360s since I got them and I take VERY good care of my electronics.

Maybe you just suck at electronics?

I still have my launch 360, and use it pretty much every day. No problems.

Yeah, check teh floor for cracks. It can be expensive to repair.

Yeah MS has publicly admitted lots of problems with the 360 overheating, but I guess he just sucks at electronics...

Honestly there's no diagnostics you can run to check the health of your console that I know of. Just play it for a while and see what happens I guess.

Was there a treadmill in the room?

If so that cover is definitely going to take off. When it does, look around for something amiss. 🙂

Exactly, I dropped my XBox original, and had to get my foundation redone. =|
