Well, for my build I got a intel DP67BG mixed with some blue series corsair vengeance 8 gb 1600 mhz. my board can do 1066, 1333, 1600 and 1866. Its reading it as 1333 mhz. This isnt a huge deal for me but itd be nice if it ran 1600 mhz. just wondering how to fix this.

1600 memory has default timings at 1333.

memoryexpress ...

Total kit capacity is 8GB. Each module kit has been tested to run at DDR3-1600MHz at a low latency timing of 9-9-9-27 at 1.65V. The SPDs are programmed to JEDEC standard latency DDR3-1333MHz timing of 9-9-9 at 1.5V.

And your motherboard will default to a divider that yields 1333. You either go in the BIOS and set XMP or change the divider to yield 1600.

I would just go in the BIOS and change the divider to yield a speed of 1600 -- this will keep the voltage at default. XMP profiles will likely use a higher voltage (may depend on the memory modules used).
