I remember him as a gymnast but that movie doesn't ring a bell. Sounds like maybe that's for the best.

I rewatched the Best of the Worst episode that had this in it sometime in like the past couple of weeks or so.

That movie was hilarious. It might have been my first "so bad it's funny" movie. The swords which looked like cardboard wrapped in foil might have been the first clue.
