Hi all :D

I am having a problem....... too bad........ so if u can help here it is:

I have two Win OS's on my machine.

I installed Win 2000 Professional first.... then installed Win ME.......

So my Win ME system boots but does't give me a choice to boot Win 2000.

==============
The problem more clearly: I installed W2k then Win ME on the same machine. It is supposed to give me a choice when I boot my machine: Either ME or 2000. But it doesn't do so. It just boots Win ME ignoring the W2K.
==============

Thanks :D

I'm not 100% certain about this for WinME, but I know that it applies to Win95 and Win98, so it should still apply to WinME...

Installing WinME after Win2K overwrites the boot loader for Win2K, which would prevent you from having the option to boot to Win2K. In order to dual boot, you need to install WinME first, and then install Win2K. Either that or get a third-party boot manager to handle the boot operations.

ditto what Fardringle said.

u need to have a win9x os on the primary partition, and have win2000 on the other one
