Oh no, our apartment is infested with BED BUGS!

Uggggggggghhhhhhh!!!

My roommate buys and sells a ton of stuff on eBay, and has a tendancy to purchase LARGE lots of used clothing to resell for a larger profit. I have a feeling that's how our apartment was infested with BED BUGS.

I've never actually seen one, but I've woken up several times with round, itchy little bumps on my legs. My roommates have them too, and we suspect the perpetrators are bed bugs...

At this point, I've washed all my clothes and sheets, but that hasn't helped the problem. Do we need to hire a professional pest controller to get rid of them, or is there anything we can do on our own to eliminate the problem?

Buy those little things you put in the apartment that let off a ton of bug killing spray, you have to leave the place for a few hours though. Also, when you get back you should leave windows open for an hour and then get in. We've done it before and works great.

Thanks for the tip... do you have the name of any of the products you used? Can I do it in the morning, before I go to work?

Easy enough. Hope it works, thanks minendo. One per room, or one for the whole apartment?

You'll have to check the package. They usually cover about 700 sq ft per bomb.

one can do an area of like 700 square metres.

One guy however, used something like 19 for his house, and ble his house up.

Raid Fumigators! Smoke them out! Nothing lives through this stuff. :D

The other kind also leave residual poison. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to poison myself. ;)

be careful with bug sprays. They are diluted chemical weapons (nerve agents). Attack the bed bugs where they live. Between and under matresses, the same for couches etc. Vacuum well.
