Yep. I have my system a Biostar M7MIA with HighPoint Raid set up as a RAID 0 with 2 drives.
My question is Can I put another drive thats bootable onto the IDE 1 or 2 ports and not have it cause any troubles with the
raid setup? And If so How do I set it as master or slave?

If I understand your question correctly, you can put another drive onto the primary or secondary on the motherboard not part of the raid setup and not cause any issues. However, if you are trying to add it to the raid setup you will have to rebuild the stripset and therefore reinstall everything.

What I am attempting to do is put a Drive onto the MB so I can copy some large files over. Like my billions of bookmarks and my mIRC setup. Stuff I don't really want to reinstall I am Lazy ya know.

Thanks

Ken

You shouln't have any more problems than if you were to add a second drive to a system that already has one. Remember, the RAID appears to be a singe drive to the system and is working off the RAID controllers. The IDE controllers are working of separate headers and are independent.
