i leave mine out in the open on the floor (wooden floor) next to my TV stand. i still hear loud fan noises. console froze on me three times. once on dead rising, twice on SF2:Hyper Fighting (while playing ranked match too :|)

it's fine lately, but i only had mine for 2 months. mine is manufactured in March 2006

I leave my 360 on top of my Xbox and under my slim PS2, no problems yet but I've only played Saints Row and Dead Rising.
