Oh no! I ran into my Ex GF today

I was doing some computer work for her brother today, and lo and behold she pops over for a visit. I haven't seen her in 10 years and we did not part on good terms (that is putting it mildly, it was a real mess). And she brings her man with her (he's a real piece of work), who was repsonsible for our breakup. :|

Needless to say it got real quiet when we were in the same room. I, of course, being a reasonable man, was civil enough to say hi. She just glared at me and the turned away.

Not a very pleasant afternoon.

At least I got paid though. 😀

best defense is to just be polite and act like it all just slides off your back......
can't get to you, cuz you're Iceman

No pics yet. I have to find them first, and since I am moving I don't know where they are.

The best pic I have is of our graduation from highschool, circa 1990. Nice pic though. I looked very good back then. 😛

How much did you make?

Oh yeah, good job on being polite and saying hi. That was the best thing you could do other than ignoring which doesn't help at all, in which case saying "hi" looks better since it shows you have the strenght to greet someone even if you may not have liked him/her 10 years ago.

So even after all the trouble with the girl you still help out her brother with computer stuff?

Just be glad its only now and then. I can't avoid mine for practical reasons. Broke up 2 weeks ago and it's a royal pain seeing her at least once a week.

i ran into my ex gf from 3 years ago at the begining of the semester. i started at a new University and there she was. It was weird but we spoke a few moments. she looks exactly the same and still has huge boobs.

I try not to be petty, sometimes I fail.

Her brother and I have been friends since I went out with her. I dated her for 3 years and we were engaged at the time.

I ran into my ex today as well. Anyone know the best stuff to use to get blood mixed with skin and hair off a bumper?
Don't use acetone...it'll kill your clearcoat.

Yeah I think you handled it like a gentleman. Way to go kiddo!

I agree. Congrats on handling the situation with a modicum of class.

I hung out for a bit with my ex g/f yesterday.. but we're friends (and we both realize that we're best off not as a couple at this point in time.)

I would like to be on better terms with my ex's, but its not always possible. I am on good terms with my 2 other ex's, but I am not on speaking terms with Sue (that's the ex in this thread) and Tracy (she lives in another city in which I don't go to).

Oh well.

This thread stirs up old memories, some of which are unpleasant.

walk up to her and chomp your teeth like Iceman from Top Gun, she'll be all over you again in no time hehehe
