Here it is copied verbatim:

Feb. 12.
Consider the chronology of the latest audiotape supposedly made by Osama bin Laden.
The existence of this tape and its delivery to Al-Jazeera were first announced by U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, as his answer to the question of why America could not allow Iraq to be disarmed peacefully. Al-Jazeera, however, denied having received any new bin Laden audio messages.
Suddenly, the arrival of a tape is confirmed by Al-Jazeera and its airing is immediately followed by an official U.S. response on the same channel.
On the tape, a scratchy voice claiming to be bin Laden's states that he supports Iraq against America and calls for a holy war against the evil U.S. "crusaders."
But is the voice really bin Laden's?
It sounds much more like a synthesized version ? something any competent Arabic-speaking engineering graduate with basic electronic speech-processing skills could tell you. Conclusions? The tape was most likely created by U.S. intelligence and passed on to Al-Jazeera to justify attacking Iraq.
Well, I suppose you can't always pull off the perfect deception.

Seems the supporters of terrorism are at it agian with their propaganda.

PS: I got this from the Toronto Star, letters to the editor.

No more propoganda than what you hear from the government...without concrete proof who's to say whether it is really bin Laden or not? Believing the gov't unconditionally is nothing short of being propogandized.

load of crap with his fawkin conspiracy theory.

Maybe Mulder and Scully have the answer. Everything always has to be the most complex, confusing theory. It couldn't have just been Bin Laden. That would be much too easy.

He left out the part that Qatar first passed this on to the US, but with that then his conspiracy theory doesn't hold much water.

Well until our government starts using poison gas on us and establishes rape gangs in cities where people disagree with the government, I'll trust washington a little more than Baghdad. But, hey, if you really believe there's no difference between the two, then try moving to the Middle East. Hold up a nice shiny "Peace Not War" sign as Saddam's guard comes to take you into custody...I'm sure they'll respect the power of the cardboard sign.

lol, yeah, if we needed to "engineer" propaganda, we could show him transmitting live from the international space station, much less make a good voice tape

Adding to others deriding: You'd think that if the US had made this tape, Powell wouldn't have made ill conceived comments on what the tape contained. If this is an act of US evidence planting, US Intelligence/Administration are in complete disarray.
