As much as I like to eat egg rolls, I don't like to see that style when ram is being sent to me.

Box, in good condition, like I expect from UPS, concidering it was only a 20 mile trip for this ram ( free shipping, I'm lazy)

The ram, in its egg roll wrapper. I hope it works. There was some pink anti static bag deal, but it was open and the ram probally got bashed around a few times.

This was from ocsystem.com, cheap prices, and they were pretty much down the street from me, so if I had a problem, I could go and yell at someone.

To think, just another 25 cents of packaging would take care of this. In other news, got MB from newegg, its swimming in styro peanuts.

In other news, UPS managed to find my door, while FedEx didn't.... looks like another day of waiting.

omg, that's one of the crappiest pack jobs i have ever seen! Crucial ships their RAM all nice, tightly surrounded by foam. Mushkin ships their modules in cool lookin air bubble type things. This is why I always hesitate to jump on so called hot deals from not so well known vendors, that in the end ship their gear like this to save some $$$:frown:

What do you expect, its free. Plus, maybe the person who packed it was lazy too...

Yea, but I sank $119 for the ram. I would think in the best interests of the company they would protect their ram a bit better to cut back on RMAs

At least you didn't recieve a Crucial 128MB PC133 stick off eBay in a traditional mail envelope. Packaged in a napkin. Thankfully it wasn't broken in half and it works fine.

And yes, I E-mailed the newbie seller on it.

I think the last time I ordered from crucial it was some funky cardboard protection thing and not foam. Worked just as well but it was wierd.

if it's impenetrable... how did you get it out of the package to use it??
