Obviously you all have messed with the wmvHD showcase, but try the new clips. The Striker and Alexander not only looked REALLY REALLY good, but brought my PC to a crawl as well and it can play the older 1080p clips

I just downloaded the doom3 demo so I guess I'll have to prepare for the worst tommorow

I took some advice and just tried it with Zoom player pro wmv..OMG..it is..beautifull..and it isn't dropping frames:Q

OMG...Zoom just played "the magic of flight"without dropped frames...My PC drops them all with wmp...too bad it costs like $60

That zoom player pro wmv works great. I'm running the 1080p stuff maximized at 1600x1200 on a p4 2.8ghz and radeon mobility 9000 with 512mb ram.

I don't know, I just switched to the newer drivers yeterday

I guess I don;t need it now anywys. WIether way, I can jsut change it in the bios....I still don;t get how the ATI software did it but whatever

my laptop played striker at 1080p, full screen at 1600x1200, in Windows Media Player, while defraging a hard drive and running bittorrents and outlook, without dropping frames. oh yeah and the laptop is a year old.

720p one play fine on my 2400+ @ 2.4GHz, 1 gig ram, GF4 TI4600 only useing 40% of the CPU ill try a 1080p
