I just got my SVC golden gate 40 and decided to plug it in just to see how it performs. All i gotta say is good lord! The fan spins so fast and is just loud as F**K. It pushes so much air. I hope it will be bearable. It sounds like one of those regular room fans on HI. One question, is the fan suppose to be positioned so that it blows air in, or should it be pulling air out? Thanks

i'm pretty sure it takes air in towards the HS. Sorry to hear your fan is loud. I got the GLOBALWIN WBK38 and that thing was soo loud that I ended up taking it out for a worse, but quieter HSF. I just couldn't bear it.
