VNC

Set the server up on your home computer, forward ports 5800-5900, and then just bring the viewer part of the program to school with you and execute it. I know my school's firewall doesn't block it...most of them shouldn't block port 5900, as it is used for Exchange 😉

Why risk having something put on your transcript so you can check mail?
 
My school has it too, gets annoying some times, but honestly, if you just go in, do your assignment or whatever teacher asked, and walk out, you not only save time and effort and less websense pages, but you are lowering the chance of getting in trouble

the thing is that im here for a certain amount of hours, its not just until i finish the project im working on. so i like to be able to do things like go on atot or livejournal or check my email. of course atot is the only place i can go to.
 
we have packetshaper. we got to beta the big version for our school... boy did it suck for a while. Then it got good.....

but now, it really sucks. way too many ppl on campus, so much crap.
