cool :) I only get 256/128 - this is what the Bronze (lowest) package is supposed to do. DL usually tops out between 300~350 according to DSLR, though. Good enough for me most of the time; just wish it were faster when I try to download something large, like a linux ISO.

EDIT: just tested it @ DSLR: 365/81

Which server do you use to test with?
I'm on OOL too, and I usually don't get that fast a speed.

2000/384 Road Runner with great uptime. However, I do wish the upload was 1 meg+ so I could realistically host a gaming server or something similar.

I just used the on in NJ and got:

Your download speed : 7230729 bps, or 7230 kbps.
A 882.6 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 933125 bps, or 933 kbps.

Um... it's broadband. It's supposed to be fast. Oh, and you're not getting 3.2 megabytes per second (MBps). That's 25.6 megabits per second (Mbps) and there's no way in hell you're getting that. The most you can physically get from coaxial cable is 10 megabits per second (Mbps) which translates to 1.25 megabytes per second (MBps).

Atleast... IIRC.

Just tested mine at 1219/248. Usually the downlado is a bit higher... 1.5 to 1.8mbps.

Oh well, good enough.
