Yes, I read the same one. And to be fair, Trump did not ask that the photos be cropped. He asked for photos showing the crowd was yuuuuge and they decided to crop it to give him what he wanted. Technically, the wrong doer here is the person who did the cropping. Trump's obsession with crowd sizes and ratings is pathetic, but it doesn't look like he tried to perpetrate a fraud. This time.

A photographer was tasked by a client to put the best possible look in a photo. Trump was not satisfied with the original and so cropping was the answer. From a photographer's perspective it makes sense. The alternative which is worse is to clone in more people.

I'd like to see crowd shots of these rallies. I imagine they're getting smaller with each one. Eventually, Trump with have one in a coffee shop, because haven't they already been downsized to high school gyms. He still pauses for the overwhelming response.. he wants to speak more, but can't because the crowd just drowns him out with their worship....but there's a gap, he waits longer to get back in because he's expecting more. They also wanted him to wear a MAGA hat, but he refused. They escorted him to a holding roon where Secret Service checked his ID and told him to leave and not come back. He was interviewed on CNN.
