my roomate apparently invited all these guys over from head-fi to have a meet and bring over all their amps and cans. . crap these are the biggest geeks ever. their conversations are hilarious in their geek-ity, they just keep making fun of non-audiophile friends. my god get these people out of my house...lol

Yep, use $1 fry's speakers. And crank the bass and treble up on that sucker so it sounds even more distorted.

dude! they are cool. ive been to a couple of head-fi meets around here in san jose. some of the stuff people bring are extremeley expensive ($2,000 and $3,000 headphones) and even more expensive sources. take a listen, you wont get many chances to hear some of the things they have.

yea don't diss on what you don't know. try out some of those rigs with some of your fave music in a high quality source, and you'll be amazed guarenteed

If you think those guys are nerds, you should've seen the guys at one of my friends' house when I was in college. They were all Airsoft geeks. Bunch of scrawny dorks running around the house with plastic guns shouting "CLEAR" as they leapt into various rooms of the house.

i have. my roomate buys all this crazy audio stuff, i always try it and there's never any difference. we tried blinded random trials. couldnt' figure it out.

anyway i don't really care about those guys, they're having a blast so good for them. i just find them highly amusing in their geekiness.
