Dr. Wing W. Poon joined Montclair State University in 1997. Prior to that, he was on the faculty at the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Dr. Poon received his Ph.D. in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1996; his M.S. in Accounting from California State University, Sacramento in 1991; and his M.A. in Mathematics from the University of California, Davis in 1988. His research interests are in the areas of usefulness and value of accounting information, accounting choice, product costing, and international accounting standards.
