If you have it shipped by air - it is in the airplanes unheated cargo (far below 0°C). If you have it sent by truck, it is in the back of the unheated truck (may be far below 0°C). Basically, it would have gotten that cold anyways. The thing to be worried about is that they left an expensive package unattended where anyone could have stolen it.

I ordered a Canon A80, 256MB memory card and a super fast battery charger from Amazon.co.uk for my Dad's Chrstmas present and it was due to arrive today. And arrive today it did... while I was at work. HOWEVER, instead of doing the sensible thing of taking it to my local collection office for me to pick it up later, as they are supposed to do, THEY LEFT EVERYTHING ON MY BALLY DOORSTEP, IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, AND IN SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES!!!! The cads...

Egad, I could have wrung someone's neck, I was so annoyed I almost dropped my tea and scones. If there's any damage from condensation i'll be jolly annoyed. Imagine if someone had pilfered the goods? I'm going to ring them up tommorrow and give them a piece of my mind, I am almost tempted to write my local member of parliament! What would be the best way to pursue this course of action, do you think i'll be compensated if anythings knackered? Am I entitled to compensation for gross-negligence?

Here's the full uncut English version...😛

Best post. EVAR!

You obviously haven't been around long, otherwise you would have given that award to one of Wduaqnug's posts. He spoke in an entirely different language and noone still know's what it was.
