It feels like someone took a machete to the back of my throat. It hurts just to drink water.
My nose is discharging some type of alien fluid. And it feel like I fell down a flight of stairs.
I am pretty sure I'm dying.
Will you all remember me when I am gone?

BTW, go to the Dr and get some meds. I felt like chit with the symptoms you described and ended up having strep.

I took some dayquil. It isnt working though.
 
Now go out to the crowd of angry union workers and sneeze on them, share in their water, and cough around them all. Then they will all get sick and not show up for a few days 🙂
 
Why don't you take the day off? I hate people that try to be a hero and come to work when they are sick, and end up getting everyone else in the office sick in the process.
 
It's hit me like a freight train too. I'm just taking tons of vitamin C, benadryl, and sudafed. Hoping to kick it by this weekend b/c I have to move to a new apt. argh.
 
my tongue is sore. i don't know why...it started yesterday and seemed to get better but this morning it was hurting again.

I don't blame you for going into work... I usually work through illnesses too. I hate to waste a sick day... being sick. 🙂

I remember back when I had a sinus infection that spread to my throat/tonsils; the ER gave me codeine so that I could swallow.

The infection sucked, but oh man were the drugs great. It was new year's eve, and so I wasn't allowed to drink because of the antibiotics, but at that point, I didn't even care.

sinus infections suck big time....the sinus headache and pressure is horrible
