Really wanted to refrain from doing this, but I read post after post after post trying to figure out if what I have is going to be ok and can never find the exact answer I am looking for. So here it goes.

Case: Lian Li PC-61

Motherboard: Asus P5N-E SLI

CPU: Core 2 Duo E6600

CPU Cooler: Tuniq Tower 120

PSU: PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750

Ram: Was Corsair XMS2 PC2-6400
Keep reading they are no longer a great choice

So probably go with Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400

Video Card: eVGA 8800GTX
Currently just one going in.

Screen: BenQ FP202W 20.1

Didn't put the Hard Drive or DVDRW Drive. Figure those are pretty much just standard.

Honestly not a huge OC Fan so I know the Ram and such probably not the best for OC. Just never have been interested in it =[. BUT With that being said If there is a small upgrade I can make IE: Ram, that will give me the option to OC a little then please inform me.

Mainly looking to play games. WoW (yea..i know its overkill) Is currently my main game. But do want to be prepared for UT2k7 and Vanguard:SoH along with others.

Thanks in Advance to the posts (if any:)

And really sorry about the Rate my build post! But i wanted some advice!

There is no reason to buy the PC-61 anymore. The PC-7 has the same basic look, same build quality, uses 120mm fans (vs. 80mm), and is cheaper.

I would also opt for the Zalman 9500AT for it's 4-pin PWM fan (automatic fan control) and combination of low noise and performance.

I agree with Operandi. I currently have both products mentioned and would recommend them. The Zalman is nice...cool and quiet. I currently have it on an e6600. I also prefer 120mm case fans over 80mm.

I also agree with Bamacre. For something in that price range I'd look at the P965 chipset...either a Gigabyte DS3 or an Asus P5B-e.

I have the Crucial RAM...nice choice.

Also, isn't 750W a little overkill for one 8800GTX. I got the Silencer 610 and I like it. However, I'd look at the Seasonics also

PSU is waste of money and not needed for the system it's also very expensive and on the loud side.

I'd get a 8800GS better price for performance

ram seems decent

with the money I saved you there you can

not my choice on an lcd but i've heard okay things I'd personally do more research on the lcd

other than that it looks nice

I'd change your PS (read some Jonnyguru) and case as mentioned above. Go with an SATA burner. Add an X-Fi? Rest looks good.

Oh also, Vanguard currently sucks :(

No reason AT ALL to have an 8800GTX paired with a 20" display IMHO.

If you aren't going to OC you don't need an aftermarket HSF, and the PS is massive overkill.
