I have to take a test that proves I'm competent enough in mathematics to teach mathematics. The test questions appear to be easier than questions I ask my own students.
(From a sample test that I just glanced at)
Should I go for speed? i.e. answer 90 multiple choice questions plus one long "show your work, multiple parts" type of question? Or, should I go for speed, ie. finish in 20 minutes or less?
edit: and on 3 hours of sleep
Wow, re-reading that made me think that maybe I should go with the other choice - ace the thing, even if it takes my 1 out of the 4 hours I have for the test. (last time I took one of the other required tests, a lot of people stayed the entire time)
2 hour drive up, 4 hour test, 2 hour drive back.
