I just paid off all of my Credit Card debt in the first month. :D The only problem is that I will be living off $80 for a month or so. Hope no unexpected emergancies come up in that time, but I am glad to have my balance no longer hanging over my head. :D

I probably will work a couple of extra days to give myself some breathing room.

Sure feels nice though :D

get a membership to a wholesale club like BJs, Sams or Costco and pick up some cheap tomato sauce and pasta combos, some Jif Peanut Butter and Smuckers jelly, and a two loaf pack of bread.

Youll have about 40 bucks left to spend on whatever else you desire for that month after picking up those things.

Lived off PB&J for a month once...

We'll be paying off an old canadian one this month and watch as the US mastercard continues to rise due to immigration costs. Curses!

You rock! :)
I like the wholesale club suggestion... Sams Club, Costco... but then if you don't already have a membership that might cost ya. I think American Express has a deal with Costco for a cheap membership. That'll leave you with around 60 bucks for lotsa cereal, pasta, and pasta sauce. Or you could do bulk ramen... :D

EDIT:
man and cheese
:Q with fava beans and a nice chianti???

Here are some money saving tips.

1. Walk to work if you can or hitch a ride.
2. Eat once a day and eat what's at home.
3. Go to Arby's buy that 5 for 5 roast beef, that takes care of a week.
4. Try to shower every other day.
5. Conserve water.
6. DO NOT go out to eat unless its the McD's 20 piece chicken nuggets or the Arby deal.
7. You will find that food consumes a large portion of your money so focus your saving there.
8. Try to conserve everything... water, electricity, food, etc.

Good Luck~
