I remember reading some story about a guy who was at wit's end for whatever reason (think it had something to do with his wife), so he tied a rope around his neck and then attached it to a tree or something. He then hopped in his Aston Martin and tore away, ending up much like the guy did in this story.

I remember that too. He actually ran up a ton of debt and canceled his life insurance just prior so his wife (who was leaving him) would be left with debt and no money.
