I do not get skin problems from it and it tastes great. I really have to restrain myself to not eat it all at once.

Pity me, I have never had the chance to taste said brand.

In fact I am to poor to afford ice cream, and thus rarely get to enjoy anything more than the cheap gallon tub stuff once a year or something.

Well, i do not exactly by it every day or every week either. I keep it for movie evenings or when a month or two has passed. Because then it tastes greater than it already is. And it is here expensive as well. Costs a little over 5 euro.
But then again, B&Y ice cream does not contain all those artificial additions that cause pimples. And even B&Y ice cream every week or day makes it : "meh".
:)
What does B&Y ice cream cost in the US ?

But i do have to say, i do not think B&Y ice cream is shipped form the US to the EU. I think B&Y icecream is made locally here in the Netherlands. Because i can remember a commercial where they said that the milk in the ice cream was made from cows from specific dutch farmers. And those cows get time to run free in the meadow.

Ben & Yerry's is a subsidiary from unilever. A Dutch/British food concern.
But B&Y is still sort of independent. :)

In the UK, it is on sale at half price with some sellers, from time to time. (Approx 2.5 Euros or so, in £'s for the UK).
The flavors vary, but I'm happy to try different ones, at different times.
There are usually two different flavors, at the sale price, so usually one would like at least one of them.

My favorite flavor is double core chip, with extra spice (sim) and topped with surface mounted, micro chipped cpus (= Concentrated Peanut bUtter Source).

Or the diet one, R.I.S.C. (Reduced Intake Surplus Calories).

If i can believe the dutch wiki, the ice cream produced for the European countries is created in a factory of Unilever in Hellendoorn, the Netherlands.

The stuff I usually get is regular priced at $5 for 128oz, $40 equivalent for B&J. I don't think they even use milk in the cheap stuff, it's all hydrogenated oils and artificial flavors and stuff. But nobody cares about their kids...they'd feed 'em flavored used motor oil if was cheap enough and sold in bulk.

Since I'm a poor homeless bum I'll take any "ice cream" I can get even if it means tolerating a party for the toxic stuff.

Scary thing is, today I was given $6 to spend at Wendy's, and I got a burger instead of a frosty. But that was my pay for roofing on a 90+ F day and I hadn't eaten any other meals.

Chunky Monkey would be appealing if not for the walnuts. But...growing up in Ben & Jerry's proverbial shadow I got hooked on chocolate chip cookie dough. Been to the main plant once before, only a 90 minute drive from where I grew up. I don't think they lost much from becoming part of Unilever.

The Tonight Dough is FUCKING AWESOME! Boom Chocolatta is also pretty good.

It's not uncommon to find 2 pints for $6 or $7 on special locally. I think regular price is $4 per pint.

One day, when an unclaimed mega millions winning lotto ticket lands in my lap, I'm gonna go buy me some ice cream. Until then, I hate you guys (unless one of you buys me some ice cream).
