probably just me but i thought it was pretty funny today when i was flipping channels and "Leave It To Beaver" was on...

well for some reason the TV stayed on that channel for a couple of minutes...I swear the batteries died and had to get new ones...yeah that is....anyway i saw the following

Mrs. Clever is really upset because the beaver is mad at her
Wally convinces her to go talk to him, but she is scared of how the beaver might feel towards her
after she goes upstairs, Mr. Clever walks in and the following is said
Mr. Clever: where your mother?
Wally: oh shes up talking to the beav. trying to figure things out
Mr. Clever: whats wrong?
Wally: Oh, she went to the beav's school today for mothers tea and didnt wear that funky blouse he got her. Well eventually the beav. walks in and nails her!
Mr Clever: OH!!

hahai just like it when he said "the beav walks in and nails her"...lol

I swear im in grad school...not jr. high :)

bet you a nickel this is some net urban legend email floating around -- "funky" and "nailed" in a 50's sitcom?

The changing of the meaning of words over time can have a humorous effect...

"and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff."
