2 years and a half ago, i stop smoking. Was hard yeah.I was, like all smokers, having some smoke craving...i need to smoke...very badly. But i finally stop and now i feel good about it.

But for the last 8 monthk, i can say i constantly drink beer. Not a lot...the average ratio of 2-4 beer a day.Like someone who woudl drink 2-3 coke a day.

But now for the last week, iv been having those "cigarette craving" like...and its not about cigarette....its about getting a beer and having this warm feeling after i drink one.

QUESTION: Is it easier to stop beer than to stop cigarettes? Are the craving sessions as long as cigarettes?Should i start worring now about my need of beer?

Im worried a bit..thats it.God i love drinking beer....and i think because of that it can be harder...since i was sick of smoking and i decide to smoke( i smoke for about 14 years )

Switch your addictive personality over to something less harmful, like exercising or brushing your teeth or something.

Perhaps you just need some bladder control therapy?

I rarely drink anymore, maybe once or twice every six months, and very little, at that. But I used to drink everyday. I'd go through a 1/2 gallon of Absolut every week to a week and a half. It got to the point to where I was buying it in bulk, 2 half gallons at a time. It's been 6 years since i've went through that. But, everyday is a struggle to not want to go out and get bombed.

It's different for different people. I used to drink anywhere from 12 - 15 shots of tequila daily but never had any real craving for alcohol. Eventually I just cut back and drank less and less. Now I just have 1 shot a day for breakfast and I very rarely drink anything other than that.

:D yeah that's good advice. Chocolate is also less harmful than alchohol.
