Oh god i scratched my crt monitor, please help

I am in a panic. I was cleaning my Viewsonic P95F and I accidentally scratched it in the middle with my fingernail. I didnt scratch the glass it doesnt seem like, just the anitglare coating. Is there any way to fix this? Its not deep, but its painful to look at, and there are 2 smaller scratches where my fingernail slid sort of. Im usually very careful, but i just let my guard down and pressed too hard on it.

I do not like LCD monitors, and i know they dont make the p95f any more, so please someone tell me there is some way to remove these scratches. I would be indebted to you.

I think you're stuck. There's nothing you can do to fix it. Maybe I'm wrong though. Wait for other replies. Good luck.

I know of no fix for that. Sounds like two + choices. Replace the picture tube or the entire monitor. Or . . . just get used to it and live with it.

once you scratch the finish, you are basically screwed. sorry.

Yes, it appears i have no chance of fixing this. Oh well, guess its time to find an LCD that suits me....
