Hey guys, I don't think anybody has seen pics of me yet, and I'm sure some don't care. Anyway - I made it back from my road trip to Ohio to meet and take the new girlfriend home.

Let me know what you all think of her: (Linked to my website)

Lovely, isn't she?

Is the 1998 fuel-injected?

Either way, twins are awesome. You have one heck of a wheelie monster on your hands.

I feel that everybody in the forum should be allowed to ride her at any time. I'm all for sharing my new girlfriend with anybody who asks. In fact, it might even be fun for 2 people to ride her at once!

I just do hope you have some riding experience.. cause that is a liter bike.. its mighty fast.. If not I will tell you to lay off until you take the MSF course and to take it slow. Yes I say this to every new rider cause they have the highest possiblity of crashing..

Its a nice bike though, and good thing your tall. When I rode my friend TL1000 I had a hard time touching the ground, the seat high is quite high for the bike.

This is my fifth year riding - I put approx 17,000 miles on my previous bike - also a rocket - (1995 Yamaha YZF600) so I'm used to the power somewhat. I have taken the MSF course already and am considering a track school to learn some more...it's just a matter of finding the time to do it.

It is fuel injected - the guy I bought it from had NINE bikes, including a turbocharged ZX-11 that put out 400HP at the rear wheel, but was street legal and looked almost stock... Insane.

Oh hell yes! Although I'd only be up for that if I had another girl to ride with, I'm not up for two guys tag-teaming on her... :|

Nice choice! Just curious, what led you to the decision to switch from a small 4 to a large twin?

One huge factor in my decision to switch over was the exhaust note - I know that sounds ridiculous, but you should hear that thing - excellent throttle response, and a heavenly sound - those are M4 race pipes.....

Twins just have "character" - and their abundance of torque in all rev ranges is a lot more useful to me than the power that inline 4's put out in the higher rev ranges - not real practical for city riding or whatever...

It's definitely a big and powerful bike - but my YZF could have gotten me into trouble just as easy...

I'm almost scared to ride the new one - it's in mint condition, they guy put on 1544 miles in 4 years - I figured that out and it's approx 6 hours of riding time a year on average. Insane.

If I had a girlfriend like that I'd ride her for a couple days straight. Road trip!!! You're so kind for sharing too! Just let me know when it's my turn.
